MK Ayelet Shaked (Yamina) attacked the government's intentions of implementing Trump's 'Deal of the Century,' bringing about the creation of a Palestinian state.

Shaked said that "Even Rabin's government didn't recognize a Palestinian state. Someone claiming to be the representative of the right should definitely not recognize such an entity."

"Within a year of now, a new American president might go back on the current administration's promises as far as this plan is concerned," pointed out Shaked. "It's like Netanyahu creating a right-wing coalition only to do away with it when he saw fit," she continued.

Shaked said that Yamina would not support a deal whereby a terrorist entity were to come to being in Israel's heartland. "If the deal involves the creation of a Palestinian state, no, thanks," she quipped. "We'll continue expanding the settlement movement as we have been till now and things will be just fine."

"We supported Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria at a time when no one else dared to even mention it," Shaked asserted. "If the Prime Minister really wants the best for Israel like he says he does, he can get the plan restructured and ensure a Palestinian state doesn't come to fruition," she added.
