Former Knesset Member Yehuda Glick, a Likud member who did not succeed in being elected to the 21st Knesset, ascended the Temple Mount on Tuesday morning.
Glick said: "Three years ago I came from this place to draw strength for a mission, I asked the Master of the World to accompany me all the way, that I should be able to add good, to increase peace and that I should be able to sanctify his name in the world."
"Today," continued Glick, "I came here to thank him for the close escort, to apologize for mistakes I might have made along the way and to ask him that I continue, not in the Knesset, as well, to increase light in the world."
Glick took advantage of the opportunity to say a prayer: "Let us merit to reach a state in which the land is full of knowledge of Hashem like water covers the sea, that all the peoples will flow to the mountain of Hashem’s house, for from Zion will come Torah, and the word of Hashem from Jerusalem, and Hashem will be king over the whole land. On that day, Hashem will be one and his name one, and every being will know that you animate him, every creature will understand that you created him, everything with a soul will say ‘Hashem G-d of Israel is king and his kingdom is in every domain.’”
"With G-d’s help we will merit the complete redemption whose process of completion began with the return to the land and the establishment of the State of Israel, and may the whole world recognize His kingship, blessed be He."
