The detention of the last minor who has remained under arrest on suspicion of involvement in the murder of Palestinian Authority resident Aisha al-Rabi was extended by the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion until Wednesday.

Both sides agreed to the extension of the detention, in light of the police's request to conduct a number of investigations prior to a final decision to file an indictment.

Last week, the State Attorney's Office sent a statement to the court stating that the prosecution intends to file an indictment against the minor, but the indictment was not filed today.

Attorney Adi Keidar of the Honenu organization, which represents the minor, referred to the hearing that took place today on the extension of his detention, and described a "dramatic development."

"Following a dramatic development that began at the end of last week, we raised a number of complaints against the State Prosecutor's Office and the police, and we are very pleased that the findings we provided to the State Prosecutor's Office will lead to a positive outcome," Kedar noted.
