Flash floods caused parts of the Jerusalem security fence to collapse Thursday, a police spokesperson said.
The collapse occurred near Shuafat in eastern Jerusalem.
Border Police units arrived at the scene to prevent injuries and security incidents.
Flash floods caused by heavy rain have cause multiple fatalities. Two people were killed when they were swept away by floods in the Negev and in Bethlehem Wednesday. Nine Israeli student hikers were killed when they were caught by a flash flood in the Negev Thursday.
In addition, a bus was overturned by floodwaters on Route 90 in the Negev Thursday. No injuries were reported in the incident.
