A Russian plane carrying 71 people reportedly crashed during takeoff this afternoon, Interfax reported.

According to the report, a jet operated by Saratov Airlines was lost to radar upon departing from Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport.

Shortly thereafter, the plane reportedly crashed near a village in the Moscow area.

A source told Interfax that eyewitnesses reported seeing a burning airplane falling from the sky in the Moscow region.

Local officials told the TASS news agency that all 71 people on the flight had perished in the crash.

"Debris has been found, there are no survivors."

The flight, operated by Saratov Airlines, was carrying 65 passengers and 6 crew members on an Antonov An-148 passenger jet to Orsk, near the border with Kazakhstan.
