Israel Police detectives stopped a car which aroused their suspicion near the Arab village of Anata.

A search of the car revealed phones, jewelry, money, and equipment which seemed to have been stolen.

A quick investigation showed the goods belonged to a Jewish family living in Maaleh Adumim, whose home had been broken into an hour earlier.

Two Arabs were arrested, one a resident of Jerusalem and the other of Hizme, an Arab town near Pisgat Zeev.. During the police interrogation, both admitted to breaking and entering, as well as to theft.

On Wednesday night, an indictment was filed against one of the suspects. An indictment against the second suspect will be filed in the coming days.
