
Documents obtained by Arutz Sheva indicate that the Construction and Housing Ministry has begun an upsurge in Judea and Samaria construction investment.
In 2016, the ministry headed by Minister Yoav Galant, invested the highest amount in a decade: NIS 171.8 million ($47.6 million) for the first nine months of the year.

For comparison, in 2014-2015 the budgets were negative, in 2013 the budget was NIS 81.9 million ($22.69 million), in 2012 NIS 89.8 million ($24.88 million) was invested, and in 2011 NIS 57.6 million ($15.96 million) was invested.
In the Interior Ministry there was a leap in Judea and Samaria investment in 2014. The Ministry's budget for Judea and Samaria then stood at NIS 524.4 million ($145.29 million), in 2016 the Ministry invested NIS 325.5 million ($90.18 million), in 2015 NIS 492.3 million ($136.39 million) was invested; NIS 397.8 million ($110.21 million) in 2012 and in 2011 the ministry invested NIS 421.9 million ($116.89 miilion) and NIS 465.7 million ($129.03 million, respectively.
Significant investment also occurred in Netivei Yisrael's transportation infrastructure: In the first nine months of 2016, NIS 107.5 million ($29.78 million) was invested, in 2015 NIS 147.5 million ($40.87 million) was invested, in 2014 Netivei Yisrael invested NIS 145.8 million ($40.39 million), in 2013 NIS 111.9 million ($31 million) was invested, in 2012, the investment was NIS 143.1 million ($39.65 million), and the largest amount was invested in 2011 - NIS 281.9 million($78.1 million).
