Israel's Dan bus company received a bill from Israel Police demanding they pay 2,000 NIS for one of their buses driving in the public transportation lane on a highway, reported Army Radio.

The mistake happened after road security cameras noticed the bus was driving in the lane meant exclusively for public transportation - but did not realize the vehicle was actually a public bus.

According to Israel Police, the vehicle did not appear on the list of vehicles approved to use the public transportation lane.

Israel's Transportation Ministry recently decided to enforce the laws against private drivers using public transportation lanes, and have begun using road cameras to fine illegitimate users.
