Two men in their forties and a woman in her thirties died on Thursday as a result of a three-car accident on Highway 90 near Ein Yahav.

Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics arrived at the scene to provide medical treatment to the wounded. After many resuscitation attempts, they determined the death of the three.

Police blocked highway traffic from the location known as "Kushi Rimon" to the Arava junction. Drivers traveling to or from Eilat are requested to be patient and follow police instructions.

Senior MDA paramedic Eli Sharki detailed the scene of the accident. "We saw two smashed vehicles on the road. Inside one vehicle, a 40-year-old man was trapped and unconscious. He was not breathing, nor showing any vital signs. On the road lay a man of about 50 and a woman of 30 - they had no pulse, were not breathing, and appeared to be in critical condition.”

“MDA personnel were assisted by IDF medics and began resuscitation attempts," described Sharki. “Unfortunately, the damage was too severe and we had to proclaim the death of all three.”
