"There's no realistic way" a Palestinian state will be established, Jewish Home MK Yinon Magal stated Wednesday, speaking at the constant vigil being kept by Judea-Samaria (Shomron) regional council mayors outside the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem.
"It's impossible to establish a state which will only bring terror," Magal said.
Magal further noted that, in his view, the Left's arguments to establish such a state have lost all reason.
"Arguing with a leftist [...] it's like watching a cartoon character and seeing his legs still moving mid-air even though he's fallen off a cliff," he said. "They don't have any ground to stand on. They don't have anything, not a Palestinian nation nor a Palestinian land."
"[US President Barack] Obama and the Europeans still talk about this, and they know they don't have grounds for it," he added.
Magal also predicted that, in the unlikely event a Palestinian state was established, the first person to be "stabbed in the back" would be Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas himself.
"He wouldn't be able to survive for a day," he said.
The MK ended by calling on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to face the facts, in his words.
"Tell the truth," he urged. "And the truth is, there will never be a Palestinian state."
