Arab violence extends far beyond Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, Yisrael Beytenu chairman MK Avigdor Liberman said on Tuesday night, following a violent demonstration by Israeli Arabs in the city of Yafo (Jaffa) in which several police officers were wounded.

"The riots this evening in Yafo make it clear to all those who thought that the wave of recent violence does not concern all the citizens of Israel, but 'only' those who live in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, that the Palestinian incitement knows no limits and its consequences reach everywhere, including the center of the country, a few kilometers from the heart of Tel Aviv," Liberman said.

"The wild incitement on social networks and in official Palestinian media proves that this fight is not against terrorism by individuals, as there are those who are trying to say, but rather a scheduled and organized campaign that those who preside over it, in Ramallah and Gaza, enjoy immunity granted to them by the State of Israel for misguided reasons that it is now clear that they do not even have a short-term benefit," he continued.

"These events are also carried out with the encouragement and assistance and in coordination with members of the Knesset of Israel," Liberman stressed.

"This is not a collection of random disturbances but a strategic threat to Israel, which is the result of a loss of deterrence, the impacts of which will worsen," he warned, adding, "The government must come to its senses and provide an immediate and overwhelming response to this threat."
