Polling stations only close at 10:00 pm, but several parties have already filed complaints to the Central Elections Committee (CEC) over allegations of fraud Tuesday - just halfway through election day.
Yisrael Beytenu has filed a complaint, representatives stated to the press, after a number of party representatives were allegedly attacked during the voting process.
In one incident, the chairman of Yisrael Beytenu's Nazareth chapter was attacked at the polling station; local police rushed to the scene to break up the fight.
In Arab-majority Baka Al Gharbia, Kafr Kara, and Sakhnin, party representatives were prevented from voting by the crowd.
"Yisrael Beytenu strongly condemns the repeated attempts to rig the election in the Arab sector, and prevent representatives from Zionist parties to observe and maintain the integrity of elections in Arab towns," the party stated.
In a separate incident, the head of the polling stations in Umm Al-Fahm has been accused of fraud Tuesday, after several ballots were found to have been put in the ballot box that did not match the voter turnout thus far. Police have opened an investigation.
Fraud allegations have been made from within the haredi sector, as well.
Earlier Tuesday, Yachad-Ha'am Itanu chairman MK Eli Yishai revealed in a special Arutz Sheva interview that Yachad ballots at several polling stations are missing or have been destroyed, apparently by Shas supporters.
Haredi women's party B'Zhutan told Arutz Sheva later Tuesday that their ballots were missing as well - and added that some polling stations' rubric of the different party symbols have left the fledgling party out entirely, against elections laws.
