Josh Yehoshua Lorech is the victim of the stabbing attack on Monday, in which a female Arab terrorist of Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction attacked him with a knife at Gush Etzion Junction in Judea.
Recounting the attempt to murder him, Lorech said on video "I stood at the hitchhiking station, I spoke with someone who I knew who stopped in his car to pick up hitchhikers. As I was speaking with him, suddenly I felt a blow here on the left side."
"I was kind of in shock until I managed to turn around and I saw a black figure moving away from me, who it turns out was a female terrorist. At the same time I saw out of the corner of my eye that I had a knife stuck into me here, I took it out. I didn't feel too much, I didn't fall on the floor," recalled Lorech.
The wound was then shown in the video, with Lorech stating "I didn't feel that it was a knife, it felt more like a 'dry' (unarmed) blow. It's unbelievable, it's simply a miracle. It was simply a miracle, may G-d's name be praised."
Lorech's wound was classified as a mild wound, and he received medical treatment on the site, not requiring evacuation to a hospital.
The terrorist, identified in Arab media as 22-year-old Amal Fahri Takatka of Beit Fajjar to the south of Bethlehem, was shot by security forces as she fled the scene and critically wounded. She was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
According to the Palestinian Arab Al-Quds news source the terrorist was 22-years-old and had spent a year in jail previously for stabbing an IDF soldier in exactly the same location, reports Walla!.
Reportedly the terrorist's home in Beit Fajjar was raided by security forces shortly after the attack.
