Iranian spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, called on Tuesday to the Muslim world to rise above the current political and religious conflicts in order to demonstrate a united front, in support of the "Palestinian" war against Israel

Khamenei claimed that “The slaughter that the Zionist rule is undertaking in Gaza is a derivative of the rift existing within the Muslim world,” and of the lack of unity and ability to appear as a single Islamic nation, which will lead the “Imperialistic forces” to continue to extort the Muslims.

In opposing of the “attack of the Zionists,” who he termed “bloodthirsty wolves,” Khamenei said that it is up to the Muslim world to supply the immediate needs of Gaza residents, which include food, water, medications, medical supplies, construction materials - and weapons for the purpose of fighting Israel.

Khamenei accused the United States, Britain, the United Nations and the international community of involvement in the “crimes” taking place in Gaza, and emphasized that the “Zionist criminals” should be tried in the international court.

The Iranian spiritual leader also said that two cancerous growths exist within the Islamic region; one being the State of Israel, which is killing "Palestinians", including children, and the other being the Islamic State (former ISIS), which is killing many Muslims. In this vein, Khamenei indicated that Iran has the power and the ability to ensure safety and stability in the region, and to bring an end to the bloodshed.
