A man in his 50s from Tzfat in Israel's north was brought in for investigation on Friday, on suspicions that he had planted a stun grenade in his neighbor's motorcycle.

The neighbor found the grenade attached to his motorcycle after he fell while riding the vehicle, reports Yedioth Aharonoth.

The grenade did not explode in the fall, and no injuries or damage were reported from the incident.

Police say the background to the event appears to be a conflict between the neighbors, who live on Tzahal (IDF) Street in Tzfat, reports Walla!.

Further details about the incident, such as how the suspect obtained the stun grenade and what particular motives lay behind the neighborly feud, remain unclear.

Tzfat, located in the Galilee, is one of the four traditionally holy cities in Israel, the others being Jerusalem, Hevron and Tiberias. It is also the city at the highest elevation in the country.
