A group seder hopes to assert a Jewish presence on Mount Zion [Har Tzion] in Jerusalem. Organizer Leah Colish spoke to Arutz Sheva about the event.

The annual Shavuot gathering at the location attracted hundreds of people; now, the group of volunteers hope to step up events at the location amid the backdrop of persistent rumors regarding the future of the area.

"It's about Jewish unity," stated Colish, "everything will be kosher mehadrin in a hassidic style, but we want all different types of Jewish people to experience this special area."

She will help lead a tour of the area including historical sites. Monday night seder will begin at 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday lunch will begin at approximately 11:30 a.m., following Shacharit morning services which will be held on location.

The event will take place in the open field just outside the King David's Tomb complex. For more information call Leah Colish at 050-288-7365 or 02-500-2478.
