
The Temple Mount is Judaism's holiest site and the location of the two Holy Temples of Jerusalem, the latter of which was destroyed by the Romans in 70CE.

A stone arch that is part of the array of arches that supported a large stone bridge. The bridge connected the upper city (today's Jewish Quarter) and the Temple Mount during Second Temple times.

Part of a cross-shaped hall made of four rock arches. The hall served as a base for a Muslim structure that was located above it during Mameluk and Ottoman times.

A section of the Western Wall that was uncovered when the tunnels were unearthed.

"The Large Stone”: A huge stone foundation that was discovered in the hidden part of the Western Wall. It weighs close to 500 tons.

The remains of the market street that passed at the foot of the Western Wall during the Second Temple times. The street is cut off abruptly at this point – probably because of Herod's death.
