25 Members of Parliament and Congress from around the world, who are currently visiting Israel as part of the 2013 Chairman's Conference, toured Judea and Samaria on Monday. They expressed their solidarity with the Jewish settlement enterprise in Judea and Samaria and said that they oppose the European Union’s boycott of Israeli products from these regions.

The lawmakers are the chairmen of Israel Allies Caucuses which represent hundreds of members of Congress and Parliament around the world.

Participants include lawmakers from the U.S., the European Union, Canada, Brazil, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Macedonia, Poland, South Africa, Guatemala, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Uruguay.

During the visit to Judea and Samaria, the lawmakers visited the local Psagot winery and met with the leaders of the settlement enterprise, including Danny Dayan who heads the foreign relations department of the Yesha Council, Herzl Ben-Ari who heads the Karnei Shomron Local Council, Kedumim mayor Hananel Dorani and Beit El mayor Moshe Rosenbaum , among others.

Dayan told the lawmakers, “Our presence today [in Judea and Samaria] is strong enough to make it irreversible. If I had one message that I would like to convey to your governments through your distinguished presence here, it would be that the talks ablut our presence here being temporary, of solutions that are based on forced evictions of Jews from their homeland will never work.”

“There is enough room in Judea and Samaria for many many Jews and for many many Arabs, and for peaceful co-existence between them,” he added. “You will see that it is possible as long as everybody understands the essence of our presence here, and the essence of our presence here is that the Jewish people returned to their homeland forever.”
