Finance Minister Yair Lapid has asked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to pull Likud MK Gila Gamliel from the Knesset’s Finance Committee following her scathing attack on Lapid from the Knesset podium, Maariv reports.

Gamliel, the coalition whip on the Finance Committee, criticized Lapid over the 2013 budget.

“Where is the vision? What we have here is a lack of political and financial experience. There is no encompassing vision,” she accused from the Knesset podium.

“Where is [Lapid’s party] Yesh Atid?” Gamliel continued. “With all of your elections promises, I thought I was going to have an easy life.”

“Do your homework. It is okay to be inexperienced,” she added.

Netanyahu reportedly refused to remove Gamliel from her position on the committee, but told Lapid that he would not hesitate take disciplinary measures, including removing her from her position on the committee, if she does not toe the coalition line in the future.
