Two swastikas and anti-Semitic remarks have been found written in black magic marker on a sidewalk at Levittown Veterans Memorial Park in Nassau County, New York.
Police said a Hempstead Town Park Supervisor discovered the marks early Tuesday morning, the local Patch newspaper reported, adding that the two swastikas were both three inches in size.
A Nassau County Public Information Officer told the newspaper that he is not sure for how long the marks have been there, as they were found faded.
A month ago, police discovered two swastikas drawn in chalk on a sidewalk on an East Meadow sidewalk. It is unclear if the two incidents are related and the investigation is ongoing, the newspaper reported.
