Nationalist Israelis are strangely absent from the AIPAC 2012 conference in Washington, DC, according to journalist David Bedein, Director of the Center for Near East Policy Research.
"AIPAC is supposed to reflect what goes on in the government of Israel in terms of policy," Bedein explained to Arutz Sheva. Yet, government policies on matters like the Palestinian Authority incitement of its population commit terrorist acts are absent from its agenda, he said.
Instead,Bedein said there are "all kinds of left wing professors," as well as Arab spokespeople, making presentations that show the Palestinian Authority in a positive light, while people from the national camp are "boycotting" the conference.
As a result, the veteran journalist and activist said, the impression one gets from listening to presenters in the conference is that the "peace process" is about to make a comeback.
