MK Michael Ben Ari (National Union) was decidedly unapologetic Thursday, in an interview regarding the violent protest Monday at the IDF's Ephraim Regional Brigade HQ.
Speaking to Arutz Sheva, he addressed the residents of Israel's Biblical heartland and nationalists countrywide: "To my heroic brothers, the residents of Judea and Samaria, the supporters of the settlement enterprise, those who love the Nation of Israel and the Land of Israel – we are under one of the most unbridled and unprecedented attacks ever."
"There are some who fear the process of our strengthening, but they will scream and bark and we will continue to do the right thing. We will not provide any justification for violence against IDF soldiers or an IDF base, but on the other hand we will not cooperate with this crybaby attitude and we will not sit on the bench of the accused."
"You made a big deal out of rioting by one or two youths, and made it look like it was all of Judea and Samaria. If you do not want to disgrace yourself, you'd better take back what you said. We do not fear and we carry on with a smile, in loyalty and great faith."
