Women in Green Youth Camp
Women in Green Youth Camp Women in Green

This past summer, Women in Green and activists from Netzer held a very successful youth agricultural work camp.

The camp is aimed at training the next generation on becoming active on behalf of the Land of Israel through real working of the land and planting new trees in an area where trees have been uprooted or cut down by Arabs.

"Despite the Arabs' hostilities in Netzer and despite their uprooting and cutting down some of our trees, Women in Green and the Netzer activists continue and even increase their efforts to establish facts on the ground," said Women in Green Co-Chair Nadia Matar.

Following the success of the first session of the camp, a second session will take place during Chanukah, on Sunday, December 5 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Youth aged 15 and above are eligible to take part in the camp, which is taught by farmers from the Galil. Some of the activities that students will take part in will include removing stones, planting, weeding, and building terraces.

The plantings in Netzer are possible thanks to donations by generous individuals who see it as a mission to prevent Arabs from taking over Jewish lands. Donations are always welcome at:
