Russia's deputy ambassador to the UN, Dmitry Polyanskiy, told Kan News that his country sees everyone as a potential mediator in the war in Ukraine - including Prime Minister Netanyahu.

"There are many countries that say they can help. We would be happy for assistance from any one of them," said the deputy ambassador, who added that it is true that Israel votes in favor of anti-Russian resolutions at the UN, but hopes that at some point the Israeli leadership, "will open their eyes and understand what needs to be done to promote peace."
