The security inspectors at the Bika border crossing foiled a smuggling attempt of about 5,000 5.56 rifle bullets. Two residents of southern Israel, who arrived at the crossing from the south, aroused the suspicion of the security inspectors. During an inspection of their vehicle, boxes of IDF ammunition containing approximately 5,000 rifle bullets were discovered. The suspects were transferred for further investigation by the security forces.
