The police acted this morning to remove eight flags of the terrorist organization Hamas and flags of the Palestinian Authority that were hung on electrical cables in a way that endangers the peace of the public in Silwan.
While this was happening, a number of rioters threw stones at the policemen, who responded with crowd control munitions. There were no casualties and no damage was caused in the incident.
