On the Temple Mount, several Palestinians were detained for questioning after chanting "Allahu Akbar" at a group of Jewish visitors who ascended the Mount on Yom Kippur. There were no clashes on the spot. Palestinian sources reported that a Waqf security guard took a shofar away from a Jewish visitor who tried to bring it into the mosque's plaza.
