According to Galei Tzahal, tens of thousands of PA residents aged 50 and above crossed into pre-'67 Israeli borders today for Ramadan prayers.
The move was allowed due to eased restrictions for the Muslim holiday.
Dozens of youths also attempted to cross the border illegally but were apprehended by security forces.
