The Palestinian Authority fears that 'rebellious' members of its security forces will join the confrontations with Israel following pressure from the Arab street, as reported by Israel Hayom.
A source in Ramallah told the newspaper that the PA Arab public is beginning to doubt security coordination with Israel. According to the source, "any delay that may be in their salaries due to the economic situation of the authority or due to a deduction of the terrorists' pay, is liable to cause a provocation."
