Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that there are "strong indications" that the Hamas terrorist organization kept hostages captured on October 7 at al-Shifa Hospital, the hospital where the terror group had its command and control center.

"We had strong indications that they were held in the Shifa Hospital, which is one of the reasons we entered the hospital," Netanyahu told CBS News anchor Norah O'Donnell this evening (Thursday).

"If they were [there], they were taken out," he noted.

Netanyahu said that Israel has intelligence about the current condition of the hostages, but he would not say what that intelligence is for their safety.

The IDF discovered a laptop with photographs of hostages at al-Shifa Hospital. In addition, the body of Yehudit Weiss, a hostage who was murdered by Hamas, was found near the hospital.

The IDF found direct evidence that hostages were held at Rantisi Children's Hospital, including window curtains placed over walls with no windows, a bottle for a captured baby, and material used to bind hostages and hold them in place.
