Dozens of residents demonstrated at Shiloh Junction on Saturday night, in wake of the fall of Sergeant Gilad Nitzan, a resident of the town of Shiloh in the Binyamin region, during the war in Gaza.

"We came here to protest, we will not let the Arabs pass here, we will not be silent, they kill us every day and throw rocks at us, we will stay here and block them from passing," said resident Noam Michaeli in a conversation with Arutz Sheva - Israel National News.

Similar protests were held on Friday, when a Samaria man was killed in a shooting attack near the Palestinian Arab town of Bayt Lid.

Such protests are frequently accompanied by violent clashes with Border Police forces attempting to clear the road, vandalism of Palestinian Arab vehicles, and assaults on Palestinian Arabs in the area.

On Friday, Palestinian Arab social media accounts claimed that protesters had entered nearby towns and torched multiple vehicles and orchards.
