IDF soldiers operated overnight Wednesday in the city of Ramallah to demolish the home of Aslam Farouk, the terrorist who carried out the double bombing attacks in Jerusalem this past November.
According to Palestinian Arab reports, clashes broke out between the soldiers and Palestinian Arab terrorists during the operation.
The terrorist carried out the attack on November 23, 2022, in two locations in Jerusalem, when he placed and activated explosive devices at the entrance to the city and at the Ramot intersection.
Two Israelis were murdered in the attack: Aryeh Schupak, a 15-year-old yeshiva student, and Tadessa Tshuma, who suffered critical injuries in the attack and succumbed to his injuries several days later.
This past February, the IDF announced its intention to demolish Farouk’s home. In early January, IDF soldiers operated in the city of Ramallah to survey the home of the terrorist ahead of its demolition.
