Turkey has decided to put up for sale the "Anatolian", the current name of the "Mavi Marmara" ship that ignited the worst confrontation between Ankara and Jerusalem ever, Israel Hayom reported.
Since the flotilla to Gaza, the Turkish ship has passed into the hands of the Turkish authorities due to a foreclosure imposed on its owners. It is currently anchored at the port of Somalia's capital, Mogadishu.
According to Sawah Press citing the official TRT Khabar channel in Turkey, the Turkish authorities holding the ship offered it for auction for a starting price of $344,500.
Authorities in Turkey have reported that the ship was recently attacked by pirates and damaged. The buyer will have to add a sum of about $ 320,000 to bring it from Mogadishu as well as bear the cost of its repairs.
