The Tel Aviv Labor Court ruled that the dismissal of a Tel Aviv fitness center worker who refused to present a coronavirus test and worked without a "green badge" was valid.
The company of educational-cultural and neighborhood-rehabilitation institutions in Tel Aviv-Jaffa has a popular chain of fitness clubs with about 20 branches throughout the city numbering tens of thousands of members.
The employee, according to the report in Channel 12, refused to present a "green badge" or negative test results and therefore the company did not allow the employee to enter the facility and provide service to customers.
Later, his work at the company was terminated. In response, he appealed to the court in order to prevent his dismissal and in a preliminary hearing, on the recommendation of the court, the employee withdrew his request and concluded his employment with the company.
