Two people were killed, including a 30-year-old woman and a five-month-old baby, in an accident on Highway 6, near the Kiryat Gat interchange, on Friday evening.

Three other people were injured in the accident, including a 20-year-old man who is in serious condition, and two people who suffered moderate injuries, including a 40-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman.

The injured were evacuated to the Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva.

The accident occurred when a vehicle diverted from its path and overturned. The cause of the accident is not yet clear, and police are investigating.
