Seven Likud Knesset members held an emergency meeting in the bureau of Minister Yuli Edelstein, to plan out a strategy for countering US pressure for a second building freeze in Judea and Samaria.

They decided to launch a 48-hour marathon of meetings with other Likud MKs to lobby against the proposed freeze and get as many of them as possible to sign a petition opposing the freeze. Israel National TV interviewed two of the leading nationalist Likud MKs, Tzipi Hotovely and Danny Danon.
