The first Chanukah candles have been lit down under in Australia for Chanukah 2021 (5782), with festivities commencing in the Chabad synagogue in Sydney.
Tomorrow the Chanukah celebrations will continue with 15,000 gifts being packaged and distributed to children in hospitals around Australia, an initiative of famous football player Tomer Hemed, along with community Rabbi Chaim Levy.
