Three Israeli Jewish teenagers were arrested Thursday night, in connection with a series of violent attacks on Arab bus drivers near the capital.

The three suspects, all minors, were arrested in Jerusalem Thursday night following reports of attacks on a number of Arab bus drivers in the town of Givat Ze’ev, west of the capital.

The suspects are accused of hurling bottles at two buses, and of spraying the Arab drivers with pepper spray. The two buses were damaged in the attacks, and the drivers required medical attention.

Police say they were attacked by the suspects while they were placed under arrest. The suspects are said to have tried to spray the arresting officers with pepper spray, though the officers were not harmed.

The suspects were transferred for interrogation in the capital.
