Surrounded by controversy since its establishment, the soccer 'super league', financed by Russian oligarchs and other business tycoons from around the world has fallen apart days after it was announced.
The league would have seen the top European clubs come together but the downside of destroying every other team in the various leagues stirred enough opposition for the idea to come crumbling before the league could get its chance to shine.
