A reflection of heaven on earth, with history beneath your feet and wherever you turn your gaze – this is “Jerusalem Spirit,” in the heart of Jerusalem, a place that is all about just one thing: Enabling people to realize their dream to live in Jerusalem and be part of something that is in our very DNA.

Asher Sebbag is the CEO of Hadas Capital that is currently in the process of constructing a fabulous 27-floor residential tower in the very heart of Jerusalem.

“I grew up in Denver, Colorado, and made aliyah around 11 years ago with the anticipation of being part of the Jerusalem spirit in construction and helping bring people their dream to be able to live in Yerushalayim, to be part of something that everybody dreams about,” Sebbag says. “And this is our flagship project,” he adds proudly, gesturing to the framework of a structure that is rapidly rising to the heavens. “It’s going to be 27 floors with 360-degree views of all of Jerusalem. In fact, from the upper floors, it’s going to be possible to see the Kotel and on a clear day, as far as the Dead Sea.”

Jerusalem Spirit is strategically positioned close to the charming neighborhood of Rehavia and is within close walking distance of Jerusalem’s finest cultural landmarks, parks, synagogues, and the Mahane Yehuda market. The modern tower is juxtaposed with elegantly renovated historic buildings dating back to the Ottoman Age.

“The building is architecturally designed to the highest standard,” relates David Kornbluth, the project’s sales manager. “The apartments themselves are tailor-made to your needs and designs – you choose your kitchen, fixtures, floors, doors – everything. But it’s not just the apartments – it’s the whole experience of living in a place that’s like being in a different world.”

Kornbluth lists just some of the features Jerusalem Spirit will provide for its residents: “Within the building, there will be a half-Olympic pool, a jacuzzi, saunas, mikvas, ping-pong room, conference room, music room, wine cellar… There will also be two synagogues (Ashkenazi and Sephardi), and a banquet hall with a kitchen to accommodate outside catering, and a communal sukkah too.”

“We hope to be able to deliver within a couple of years – by 2023,” says Sebbag. “Sales have gone through the roof in the past few months, with people getting shaken and scared by what’s going on in the world – people want to have a place where they can feel secure.”

Sebbag stresses Hadas Capital’s solid reputation as a real estate investment and development company that has been around since 2010 and has built a name for its high-end residential and commercial projects. It was cofounded by Hillel Zuravin and Asher Sebbag as the Israeli branch of VIG Corp, and has already built hundreds of residential units.

“People buying in Jerusalem Spirit can feel secure that this is an investment that will remain with them,” says Sebbag. “This is the realization of the dream that we all grew up with – to have a stone, a place in Jerusalem. This is the place to be.”
