A new IDF drone unit was inaugurated this week under the 9900 Intelligence Division.

The 9900 Intelligence Division works in the collection of geographical intelligence in the Intelligence Directorate.

The Intelligence Directorate has internalized the vast potential of drones in the collection of intelligence and the growing trend of the widespread use of drones.

The drone unit is responsible for gathering high-resolution intelligence at high resolutions using drones and advanced technologies.

The new unit will create a significant improvement in the 9900 Division's ability to provide geo-visual intelligence. The relative advantage of using drones is the ability to operate under varying conditions such as day and night, changing weather conditions, and the fact that these are relatively cheap and readily available tools.
