Bullet shatters car window of Israeli Lubavitcher yeshiva student driving in Brooklyn. 'I am alive by a miracle.'

An Israeli Lubavitcher yeshiva student driving down Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn miraculously survived after a bullet was shot at his car's window.

The CrownHeightsinfo website reported that the shooting took place around 7:30 p.m. The car of the yeshiva student was hit twice, once on the passenger side window, and once in one of the wheels of the car.

According to the report, another man was confirmed shot multiple times, reportedly in the legs and is likely to survive.

The bullet miraculously hit the rubber lining over the passenger window, causing the window to shatter, but diverting the bullet.

The second bullet hit the tire and punctured it.

In a video posted by CrownHeightsinfo , the yeshiva student described the incident.

"I will describe the miracle that happened. I was driving and a man shot his weapon in my direction, in the direction of the man who was standing, he shot down the man who was running and then another bullet came toward me."

Pointing to the place where the bullet hit his car, the student noted, "I am alive by a miracle."
