Last night, IDF soldiers operating in the village of Yabad in northern Samaria mapped out the home of terrorist Nazmi Abu Bakr, who is suspected of murdering IDF soldier Amit Ben Yigal during a military operation on May 12, 2020.

The mapping was done to examine the possibility of demolishing the house.

"The IDF will continue to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria," the IDF spokesman said.

Earlier this week, military censors cleared for publication the arrest of Abu Bakr, a 49-year-old Palestinian Authority resident of Yabad.

According to a statement by an IDF spokesperon, Abu Bakr was apprehended "as part of a large-scale operational effort in the Jenin district immediately after
the incident."
