Transportation Minister Miri Regev (Likud) has formed a plan to allow trains to reopen in the coming week.

The plan will be brought for government approval on Saturday night, and will allow 650 passengers to board each train, News 12 reported.

Tickets will be purchased ahead of time, via an application, and the number of supervisors on the trains and at the entrances to train stations will be increased.

The ticket app was scheduled to go into use next month, but there will be attempts to launch it this Monday.

The trains, though scheduled to reopen on Monday, may not reopen until Wednesday, to allow more time to organize.
