Israel's Foreign Minister, Gabi Ashkenazi participated in a discussion with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the foreign ministers of Australia, Brazil, India, and South Korea on international efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

"I’d like to thank@SecPompeo for initiating the important discussion that took place today together with our counterparts @MarisePayne, @ernestofaraujo, @DrSJaishankar and @MOFAkr_eng. We discused ways to coordinate our joint efforts in light of the global #COVID19 pandemic," Ashkenazi wrote on Twitter.

Secretary Pompeo wrote of the discussion: "Productive call with @MarisePayne, @ernestofaraujo, @DrSJaishankar, @Gabi_Ashkenazi, and @MOFAkr_eng this morning on our coordination on COVID-19. We must work together to safely reopen our economies, prevent future pandemics, and combat disinformation."

Brazilian Foreign Minister Ernesto Araújo wrote: "In a videoconference today with the foreign ministers of Australia, South Korea, USA, India and Israel, we discussed initiatives to combat Covid-19 and for economic recovery."
