Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke Monday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who called to congratulate him on the formation of the new Israeli government.

Netanyahu and Zelensky discussed the implementation and expansion of the Free Trade Area Agreement, promotion of Israeli investment in Ukraine, and efforts to resume flights between the countries.

President Zelensky said in an interview that Israel is "an example of an effective fight against the coronavirus epidemic."

The leaders concluded that President Zalansky's national security adviser would soon meet with his counterpart in Israel to discuss expanding cooperation between the countries.
