An 18-year-old female was killed overnight Saturday and an 18-year-old male was seriously injured when a motorcycle slipped on a street in Jerusalem.
Magen David Adom paramedics who were called to the scene pronounced the female dead and evacuated the injured male to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
MDA paramedic Raphael Herbst said: "The two motorcyclists, a young man and young woman 18 years of age, were lying on the road a long distance away from the motorcycle. The young woman was unconscious, without a pulse and was not breathing, with severe injuries to her body. We performed medical examinations but she was without signs of life and we were forced to pronounce her dead.”
"The young man, who was conscious and suffered multiple injuries, was treated at the scene and was evacuated in serious but stable condition to the hospital.”
