10,000 riot along Gaza border fence

Rioters burn tires, throw stones and explosives in Nakba Day protests.

Approximately 10,000 rioters and demonstrators have gathered at several locations along the Gaza Strip security fence Wednesday afternoon.

The rioters are setting tires on fire and hurling stones. A number of explosive devices have been hurled within the Gaza Strip, as well, and a number of attempts have been made to approach the security fence.

The IDF stated that troops are responding with riot dispersal means.

This morning the security forces were reinforced along the border of the Gaza Strip in the event of an escalation on 'Nakba Day,' in which Palestinian Arabs mourn the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 and the failure of the Arab armies to destroy the new Jewish State..
