US Special Envoy Jason Greenblatt stated that terrorist groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad pose the greatest danger to the Palestinian Arabs after the organizations vowed to act against the Trump Administration's long-awaited peace deal.

"Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) leader Nafez Azzam claims the peace plan “poses a real threat” to Palestinians. Actually it is PIJ & Hamas that pose the REAL threat to all Palestinians. Their complete inability to lead Palestinians towards a better future is tragic," Greenblatt wrote on his Twitter account Tuesday.

Earlier, Greenblatt criticized Hamas for holding a meeting against the plan the Administration has called the 'Deal of the Century.'

"A better name for the meeting would be: “United against a better future for Palestinians.” Stop shirking your responsibility to help bring the Palestinian people to a better place," he wrote.

President Trump's son-in-law and advisor Jared Kushner has stated that the plan will be unveiled after the end of the month of Ramadan in June.
