Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (New Right) attended a Mimouna celebration for lawyers in Mevaseret Zion on Saturday night and addressed the crowd.

Shaked referred to Israel's decision to release two Syrian prisoners as a goodwill gesture following the release of Israeli soldier Zachary Baumel. "The Justice Ministry and President Rivlin were involved in the process, all in accordance with the law and with the approval of the Attorney General."

On Arutz Sheva's questions about her political future, Shaked said, "Right now I'm focusing on the moflettas (Moroccan pancakes traditionally eaten at Mimouna celebrations) and deciding for the short-term how many moflettas we're going to be eating tonight...I'm gathering energy."

Later in the evening, Shaked will visit the Mimouna celebrations in Hof Ashkelon and Yavne.
